Kimba The White Lion on DVD All the DVDs on this page have the ORIGINAL, 1966 Kimba episodes with Billie Lou Watt as Kimba. All have been restored using the best available vintage materials, and each episode is complete. The Kimba Ultra Edition box set is a co-production of Tezuka Productions, Madman Anime, and The Right Stuf International, with some bonus materials supplied by White Lion Restorations. Using the best available materials, the original 1966 shows have been restored. Beware of other DVDs that are cheaply produced and have had their soundtracks replaced with poor music and acting.

Long sought-after by many Kimba fans, this lost version of the first Kimba episode has never before been available on home video in any form! Painstakingly restored by White Lion Restorations.

The lost first version of the famous first Kimba episode.

This is the famous dubbed version that was begun on the fateful night of November 9, 1965, the day of the huge Northeast blackout. Released to just a few TV stations, this version was replaced with a new performance by the same cast made almost a year later. The lost version has many subtleties and even additional lines that are not in the replacement version. This lost version has its own set of fans who have been looking for this episode for years.
This DVD is in NTSC (North American) format. It has no region code. Each DVD is individually numbered.
